Shoji Lake may be the smallest of the Fuji Five Lakes, but it has a peaceful charm that sets it apart. Compared with the more popular lakes, it’s much quieter and less crowded, making it a wonderful place to slow down and enjoy the scenery.On a clear day, you can see the famous “Kodaki Fuji” (“Mount Fuji Holding a Child”), where the smaller Mount Omuro appears in front of Mount Fuji, creating the illusion that Fuji is holding a child. It’s a beautiful spot to relax, take photos, and appreciate a different side of the Fuji Five Lakes.
2026年4月14日、桜はまさに見頃でした。湖の近くまで車で下ることが出来ます。河口湖や山中湖と違ってゆったりと自然を満喫する事ができるので私のお気に入りの湖です。
