Remy and his staff was a pleasure to work with. Real Speed is a great choice for everyone from local Japanese nationals to SOFA members.The vehicle inventory is posted online at their website and for the latest and greatest, visit their lots. They have about 4 separate lots filled with used vehicles purchased from auctions. Since Japan requires such strict inspections every two years, these cars are all well taken care of by their previous owners.Remy and team explains the straight forward purchasing process to include how to obtain insurance and he’ll also take the car to get inspected at time of purchase which resets the JCI for another two years.You can pay in cash or if you choose credit card, there is a 4% additional fee. Car purchases come with a warranty and 2 free oil changes. Along with car lot, there is also a mechanic shop on site so you can have him do modifications and installs (like window tinting) as long as it meets JCI requirements.

When I arrived here a year ago, I purchased a car from Realspeed. The customer service was amazing then and continues to be consistently amazing. This past weekend, my battery died. Even though it was after 7:00, and the shop was closed, someone came to assist. He checked my battery, and once he realized I needed a new one, he changed my battery right there on the spot.

Disappointing, frustrating, and condescending customer service. Real Speed states they do a "full and thorough" inspection before giving the car over. However, I drove off the first day with a squeaky belt. They fixed it. A month later, the car wouldn't start. I was told it was my fault that the car was in "bad shape" because I "didn't drive it everyday". I told them I was frustrated with the service, they played the blame game. I will tell everyone I know not to go here. So frustrated, feeling taken advantage of, and disappointed in a lemon of a car. Go to Kelly and Kelly.

A great dealer and we are very lucky to have them close to base. Easy and a pleasure to talk to and "Remy" the owner went out of his way to get my vehicle in my possession asap by coming in on his off day to get my paperwork squared away. English and military friendly. For those coming from Yokota, the owner, Rashmi, will totally help you get everything together so you can start driving. He'll also help you ship your vehicle and take care of it for you. He gives pretty sweet extras for buying from him such as a free lunch/dinner at a local restaurant, 2x free oil changes, 3-month engine warranty, 1-month total car warranty, and a $200 discount coupon for a future purchase. Last time I got my oil changed from Rashmi (again, for free) he even fixed a minor scratch on the car at no cost. I would buy from him again.
