宮崎駿が通った釜じいがモデルの窯元です。
登り窯で焼かれた作品は、島の息吹が感じられます。

こちらで急須とカップを購入しました。どれもかわいらしくておすすめです。
great place! we just arrived when they fired the kiln. limited english but very kind and attentive. road is clearly marked, follow the sign or your nav. nice to see a working wood fired climbing kiln. keep in mind this is a workshop, so you might have to wait a moment until someone is able assist you. but it’s an interesting, beautiful and kind place. definitely worth the few minutes detour from anbo especially if you’re into pottery. also nice to drive along some tea fields and it’s possible to pay by card

宮崎駿が通ったと言われる釜じいのモデルの窯元。素敵な商品も沢山あり愛嬌のある犬猫もいて癒し。価格帯はちょっと高めですが、欲しくなります。
旅先で知り合った方にご紹介いただきました。すごく素敵な陶器がたくさんありました。お気に入りを見つけカップを購入させて頂きました。

I am so happy that we did a slight detour before going to the airport to stop at this ceramic studio. It was an absolute pleasure to meet the artist and to see his giant amagama kiln. He welcomed us and showed around. We bought two beautiful cups and I wish we had more space in our suitcases to collect more. A hidden gem!
