One of my favourite places for great variety of old Prints. Not cheap but wow is the selection impressive. Wonderful lady at the counter. I highly recommend stepping in.
What a beautiful store! So many amazing first edition hiroshige and yoshitoshi prints. We visited this stores a couple of times during our time in Kyoto and purchased quite a few amazing pieces, all in great condition. The owners are very nice and I'm thankful that they let us take our time and browse through their collection.
Everything written is accurate. Wonderful, hard to find, antique art and prints from about 1870-1930. I'm not an art expert, but the prices seemed fair and were affordable for a wide variety of artists and styles. Nice older couple maintain the business and were congenial and helpful. Highly recommended!

Incredible shop. The ukiyo-e selection was BY FAR the best of the 6 shops we visited in Kyoto. The owner is super helpful and informative and helped us to understand the historic art form.You can flip through prints like browsing an old comic shop and most of what we saw dated back to the 1800s. The selection included some of the biggest names in Ukiyo-e for those with larger budgets but also some stunning vintage prints that were super affordable. We ended up stopping by 3 times during our 5 day Kyoto visit, buying a new piece each time. (We even considered a fourth visit).Can't wait to visit again when we eventually return to Kyoto.
Absolutely the BEST Art shop in Kyoto. VERY friendly owners, incredible selection of vintage woodblock art. I plan on making stops here every time I’m in Kyoto. 10/10 would recommend.

Amazing collection of old original woodblock prints. They have prints available for almost any budget and they are very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend stopping by to see some of the amazing works that have on display and possibly taking something home with you. I will be returning there on my next visit.古いオリジナルの木版画の素晴らしいコレクション。彼らはほとんどすべての予算で利用できるプリントを持っており、とてもフレンドリーで親切です.展示されている素晴らしい作品のいくつかを見に立ち寄って、何かを家に持ち帰ることを強くお勧めします.私は次の訪問時にそこに戻ります。
Top notch shop, great art and great prices. The owner is very friendly and helpful. A must if you're looking for some art for yourself or as gifts.

Beautiful store with an exquisite selection of genuine ukiyo-e prints. The ones by the nore famous artists are expensive, as they are everywhere else. With a little time, I was able to find a slightly imperfect piece for a very reasonable price. The owners were welcoming and helpful and trusted me to browse through these gorgeous prints, some of which belong in a museum, until I found the right piece. I hope to return to the store someday.
