Kari-san runs a useful and efficient service arranging a taxi and driver for Okinawa island tours, and acting as the interface to avoid language issues.I couldn’t find a group tour going to where I wanted, and the other private tour companies all had preset itineraries you had to select from.I therefore contacted Kari-San about booking a tour around Okinawa to see the UNESCO heritage castles. He responded promptly and even asked me what food I liked to suggest a lunch place I might like. He then researched these places, their opening times and the distance from the sites I wanted to see. What service!A few days before my tour, I heard about the Charaumi aquarium—one of the world’s best. I asked if it was possible to include that and Kari-San obliged even though my tour was then over ten hours long.My driver, Morimitsu-San, showed up promptly in a clean and spacious car. He checked the itinerary with me; took me to the ticket office; told me how long I had at each site; and asked if so was okay to pay the toll to use the express way for the long drive back to Naha from the aquarium. (He had a small translating device.)I had a very enjoyable day and wouldn’t have been able to cover this all in a day by bus or ride share (due to the remoteness of these sites).Kari-San provides a concierge service and takes the hassle out of arranging a car and driver, for those of us who don’t want to drive in Okinawa.
Island Life Concierge Service, and especially Kari, were absolute lifesavers during our recent trip to Okinawa. What started as a stressful situation when our reservations at Okuma Military Beach Resort were unexpectedly canceled turned into a smooth adjustment thanks to their incredible professionalism and flexibility.When I informed our driver about the last-minute change to Kadena Airforce Base, he immediately adjusted course without hesitation, demonstrating the kind of flexibility that sets Island Life Concierge apart. Later, we discovered that my daughter's wheelchair power unit had accidentally been left in the van. Kari's quick actions in locating it and ensuring we got it back relieved so much stress and allowed us to focus on enjoying our trip.Kari’s responsiveness and the overall flexibility of Island Life Concierge were truly exemplary, making them an essential part of our journey. Their care and efficiency turned what could have been a chaotic day into a manageable and even pleasant experience. I highly recommend their services to anyone visiting Okinawa—you won’t find a more reliable or accommodating team!

I can’t recommend them enough. We booked a sunset cruise for my birthday for 11 people. The transaction was very easy and painless. They arranged everything for us we only needed to show up on the day of the cruise. I am handicapped and cannot manage the stairs into a bus. Thus we needed a private tour and I came about Island Life Concierge. This was perfect. The communication and planning before the trip were very smooth. They always responded quickly and appreciated my special needs. Our guide on that day was so kind and caring and we had a wonderful tour. Compared to a bus tour we saw much more in a shorter time but I could still go on my pace without having to hurry.

You know the saying, "It's too good to be true?" Well that's absolutely Okinawa Island Life Concierge. Kari did such an amazing job in coordinating that I didn't have to think at all. My wife, Sheila, and I had the most wonderful experience in Okinawa. We got to see Cape Manzamo, Okinawa World, Okinawa Peace Park, Himeyuri Memorial, and ate some good Okinawa food to boot! Thank you, thank you and thank you to Kari for being the maestro and Gaja-san for being such an excellent guide/driver.
