Guesthouse HamaYou was perfect for us, as it was very spacious and so comfortable! You can tell it was very thoughtfully prepared by the owners, upon entering the kitchen you will be met with so many snacks! Don't worry if you don't understand a bit of japanese! The owners know fluent english and all amenities around the guest house have english to translate the japanese. Me and my family also visited their FarmHouse ( FarmHouse Hamayou ) , and we are so glad we did! The owners happily explained the entire farm to us and showed us their chickens; the chickens were so cute!! We found out during their tour that they have a Kanagawa prefecture exclusive fruit which is called Shonan Gold. It is a japanese citrus fruit which isn't found anywhere other then Kanagawa prefecture. Would 5/5 recommend this place for everyone! Will come back next trip to Japan!
Perfect for a family holiday
Guest House HamaYou is a cozy and comfy Airbnb. This place feel like home. We can see how thoughtful the owner is. She decorates the place of using seasonal flowers, plants and her own personal touch. Rooms are spacious and clean. Love having a well equipped kitchen as we have a young kid.We had fun at their farmhouse too. We picked our own fruit, Shonan Gold, the local famous citrus! I am very into that special branded citrus after tasted it. We wish we can have more! Remember to book the farmhouse experience in advance as they only accept limited groups per day. Can’t wait to come back in summer when the blueberries are ready to harvest!
