二条城にある加茂七石になります。城内を散策していたら突然の枯山水って感じです。手入れが行き届いていていいですね。

The river is famous for producing high-quality stones—such as Kamo-gawa ishi—that have been prized by garden designers for centuries.The Suminokura Legacy: These specific seven rocks originally belonged to the private collection of the Suminokura family, a wealthy and influential merchant clan of the Edo period known for their role in developing Kyoto's canal systems. They were part of the family’s magnificent residence in the city.Relocation to Nijo (1965): When the Seiryu-en Garden was constructed in 1965, the city of Kyoto sought to give the new garden an immediate sense of history and prestige. The Suminokura family's garden stones (along with their teahouses) were donated and moved to Nijo Castle.Cultural Symbolism: The rocks are named after the Kamo Shrines (Kamigamo and Shimogamo), and their arrangement is meant to honor the connection between the city's natural water source and its spiritual heritage.

2025年 12月7日二条城の清流園の左手に茶房 前田があります❗️そのお庭の隣に 【 加茂七石 】が、素敵な庭園の置き石の様に置かれています❗️賀茂川や高野川に産し、水石や庭石として珍重される石の総称を言うらしく、現在では中々採取はできないようです‼️苔も整えられてまして、素敵なミニ庭園のようでした 🎵
