So glad my wife and I decided to include a stop at this blacksmith’s forge on the way back from our day out in the western part of the island. There is a small parking area (room for three/four cars) situated directly in front of the forge/shop. We were greeted by one of the owners and shown inside to the shop area, where we then also met the blacksmith himself. We had a lovely time discussing different styles of knife, metal composition, usage etc with them both, much of which was conducted in English. Both were extremely friendly and even invited us into the forge/workshop to talk us through some of the processes involved in making these beautiful knives. We purchased two knives for a very reasonable price. Would 100% recommend including this as part of your visit to Fukue!
