Gastvrije ontvangst, kamers zijn oké. Geen douche aanwezig, maar daarom krijg je vrijkaart voor de Onsen, 5 minuten lopen verderop, wat heerlijk was na een dag wandelen. Avondeten was goed en als je meer wilde kon je nogmaals opscheppen. Omdat we de volgende dag vroeg wilden gaan wandelen, heeft de eigenaresse eerder het ontbijt gemaakt.
Very comfortable stay, the host and haru dog is very friendly and polite. The food is also nice, the location is far from the main Kumano road, we actually walked 7km to the stay, fun experience! The best part is the Onsen , super comfortable and probably my best experience in Japan .
Nos alojamos en sansaro cafe la última noche de la ruta del Kumano kodo y fue con diferencia el peor de los alojamientos que tuvimos. Está alejado de la ruta, y hay que coger un bus para llegar hasta ahí.Nosotros nos alejamos en el guesthouse. La habitación era espaciosa, estilo tradicional. Pero no estaba súper limpia. Las toallas y sábanas olían a humedad. El baño es compartido y olía mal. Habia un lavabo común fuera pero no tenía jabón. Solo nos dieron una toalla pequeña por persona que básicamente usamos para el onsen.No hay ducha, para eso hay que ir al onsen público que está a unos 5 min andando. El sitio es muy bonito, eso sí.Cogimos la opción con comida. Estaba normal. La cena fue un curry con un trozo de pollo y verduras, y la cantidad era escasa. Y el desayuno del día siguiente fue muy escaso: media tostada, un huevo revuelto (si eso), un poco de ensalada, y un mini vasito con yogur y cerelaes. El café es filtrado de sobre. Para los que tienen que hacer una ruta ese día, muy muy escaso.Fue el alojamiento más caro del viaje, y el que menor calidad ofreció.
It's clear that others enjoyed their time here. We found this spot to be a diversion from the theme of kumano kodo. The host was polite, but not necessarily warm. The bare necessities were covered, but there wasn't the kind of depth of hospitality that so many other locations on the trail have. Accomodations are spartan, which itself is not a problem, but the cost of the stay is very steep given the condition of the lodging. Site is far away from trail and about a 5-10 minute walk to the onsen where you shower (the onsen is gorgeous). Food is tasty as others have noted, dog is very friendly and as nearly all dogs are, a good soul. It appears from other reviewers that there is some variability on the vibe and for us, it was uncomfortable and did not feel welcoming, once again an outlier from our experiences in kumano kodo.
I enjoyed my short stay here, dinner was nice and yoga with the owner was fun. Haru the dog was very friendly.I was in the bedroom next to the bar and found it to be comfortable and clean. The air conditioning worked well. Dinner was really nice the curry was very tasty.There's no shower on premises which is slightly vexing after a long day of hiking but there is a token provided for the local Onsen.

However, this is not a clean place by any standard. I am not a germophobia, but I can easily say that this place is way below the standard. We stayed here one night. The whole place is messy and looks no one takes care of it. I can't figure out why they have gotten high cleanness rate in Airbnb, but seriously they need to rethink about both cafe and rooms. The food was great mix of different curry stew with small plates of veggies, but I don't believe they were cooked same day. I don't recommend staying here unless they find a way to clean this place. My wife couldn't take shower because it wasn't clean. So she got out and swam in the river by the Cafe!!The three guys in the cafe where quite a character! I feel that I am in a middle of a Japanese cartoon.

文字通りレストラン内の一室である「カフェルーム」に滞在。素敵でクリーンな部屋、ベッド、バスルーム。シャワーまたはバスはありませんが、オーナーが公共の温泉（徒歩5分）を利用するためのバウチャーをゲストに提供します。温泉には広々としたシャワールームと内湯があり、星空の下で美しい露天風呂を楽しめます。ディナーは、お母さんに期待できる基本的な家庭料理でした。野菜と鶏の胸肉をバーベキュー/照り焼きソース、野菜、味噌汁で炒めたもの。朝食は日当たりが良く、卵、ハム、オーナーの自家製ジャムで乾杯した西洋料理でした。オーナーはとてもフレンドリーで親切です。和歌山県の広報活動などのほか、様々な副業をこなす。彼女は注意を愛する春というかわいい犬を飼っています。マウンテンビューの外は壮観です。（原文）Stayed in the “cafe room” which literally is a room within the restaurant. Nice and clean room, bed, and bathroom. No shower or bath but the owner provides guests with a voucher to use the public Onsen (5 minute walk). The Onsen has spacious shower rooms, and indoor bath, plus a beautiful outdoor Onsen under the stars.The dinner was basic home cooked meal you could expect from your mom. Sautéed vegetables and chicken breast in a bbq/teriyaki sauce, vegetables, and miso soup. Breakfast was western with a sunny side up egg, ham, and toast with the owner’s home-made jam.The owner is super friendly and helpful. She does a variety of side jobs in addition to running the guesthouse such as PR for the Wakayama prefecture. She has a cute dog named Haru that loves attention. The Mountain View’s outside are spectacular.

A great place to stay whilst doing the Kumano Kodo. The room was nice and you receive free entry to the nearby onsen which is amazing. There’s no shower but because you have the onsen pass it’s all good!Food was absolutely delicious and we loved sitting round with other guests for both our evening meal and breakfast.
