Good close place from Kyoto station easy to find but don’t trust the photos from the website because it’s different. They have provide us a very uncomfortable futon instead of a sofa bed as mentioned which was very hard to sleep on.
Fine, cheap place to stay. It’s a little hard to find because of a lack of sign, and the WiFi can be spotty. Otherwise, if you’re looking for a cheap spot, it’s totally adequate.Note, it’s about 15 min, walk or train, from Kyoto station. It’s another 20-25 min walk from downtown Kyoto.
Really friendly place to stay, communication was via email/WhatsApp, this worked really well for myself and my partner. Peaceful sleep, most comfortable sleep I think I have had so far in Japan. Tidy room, good size room for Japan. Worth staying for a short stay. Also not far from so many amazing places to eat and shop. Thank you!
Good:Clean and very pleasant apartment, we loved it!Excellent to be able to bring the pocket Wi-Fi everywhere with us !If in Kyoto again we would try to book again at this place, I think that sums it up rather well !Not so good:I don't like to be charged on my international credit card directly as in incurs additional fees. I wish payment could be done cash.More hangers in the rooms would be appreciated.Cleaning fees should be more transparent and better displayed. I have over 100 bookings on booking.com so I saw it beforehand but the untrained eye could have a bad surprise (I believe it is also the responsibility of booking.com, things must be improved there).The owner did a great job at explaining very clearly how to get to the hotel while we believe it might not have been necessary (anybody with a gps can find it easily). We would recommend something similar to be done for the use of the ventilation/drying system in the bathroom (which is great, once you figure it out) and the washing machine.
It was really nice!!! I stayed here for 2 nights. Accessable from Kyoto Station by bus. Or just 8 mins walking distance from Gojo Station. Just a block away from bus 206 to go to Kiyomizudera. Plus only, 2 mins walking distance to Fresco groceries shop. Loving it. The place has everything from the kitchen to private bathroom. Very spacious. The owner was very kind to answer all our enquiries promptly via emails. Just after view minutes!!!
