工業廃棄物から作られたユニークな彫刻が魅力的です。

スラグは豊島の不法投棄された産業廃棄物を焼却処理した後に最終的に生じるもので八十八体の仏像はそのスラグが素材として使われているらしい。

I have no comprehension why this getting such a middling rating..and isn't more prominent on maps of Naoshima. It is an absolute gem. That the 88 pieces of slag recovered from Teshima are mean't to evoke the Shikoku pilgrimage is nice, but this is one that is truly about experience. During the day wandering among them and sitting and taking one or two special ones is a bounty of eye-candy and joy stimulation. Go, and then wander along the beach for a unique approach to the Lee Ufan Museum.
