I visited this wonderful little husband and wife business tucked away in Ebisu in May 2019. They make all sorts of unique one off and individual items out of tatami. I purchased a couple of attractive bags for my wife and they show no signs of wear 18 months later and they have also attracted many comments on how nice they look asking where did they come from. I will definitely be going back for another visit to show my wife the next time we can once again visit the wonderful country of Japan.
Small ‘hole in the wall’ tatami shop, making tatamis by hand on the premises. Bought a mix of standard and custom size tatamis to fit in an odd-shaped room - more expensive than ordering pre-made online, but we got exactly the size, thickness and finish we wanted (huge range of options). Great quality, and friendly helpful service despite the lack of much common language.
有趣的榻榻米店，雖然台灣不用榻榻米，但是榻榻米邊緣做的背包也太有趣了！異常輕巧！！！！
とても親切な店主と奥様で信頼できるお店です。専門の畳制作技術はもちろんですが、オーダーメイドにも対応頂ける畳のヘリを使ったへり～バッグがお勧めで、数多くのメディアにも紹介されています。細かい要望や寸法にも快く対応下さり、値段もとてもリーズナブルです。畳縁を使っているため丈夫で、お稽古バッグなどにも最適です。畳縁の柄も多くのサンプルから選べます。また店先でも畳縁やバッグなどを見ることができます。
