I stayed in this guest house for three nights whilst exploring Kyoto and Osaka and it was a great choice. The rooms were larger than expected and very clean. Slippers are provided inside the door. There are two cups in the kitchenette, but no other utensils provided (some can be provided for a charge) so bring your own teabags and spoons. The beds were comfortable and the room was quite dark due to not much natural lights reaching the window, but this made sleeping easier so not a problem. There was a small but surprisingly comfortable bathtub next to the shower area. It is worth reading the booklet provided as it has all the information you need with regards to how to sort the rubbish, what to do with the towels if you need them changing etc. The friendly staff are not there all the time but can be reached by phone. The guest house is a ten-minute walk from Kyoto station in a quiet area so very convenient. They had umbrellas that you could borrow which was handy for the one night when it rained. The only issue we had was that some other guests made a ridiculous amount of noise one of the nights, but there are signs in the corridor asking everyone to respect other guests and to be quiet so there isn't really anything the guest house can do when this happens. As the floors are wooden and some rooms are close to the staircase, I would suggest that anyone staying at this hotel bear in mind that noise can travel easily and to walk quietly across the floor and up the stairs at night if arriving back late. On the whole I would definitely recommend staying in this guest house as it was exceptionally price worthy.
This is a great place to stay! So close to the train station for taking day trips and has all the amenities you could want - toiletries, towels, washing machine, kitchen if you want to cook things yourself. Beds were comfortable and there was space to move around and store luggage which is quite rare for Japan. Only downside was the room was a bit dark as natural light was blocked by the building next door but that doesn't matter if you're put and about most of the time. Also close to convenience store and various restaurants. Highly recommend.
Wonderful place. Location might seem a little out of the way, but close to the train station, and via the 50 bus, easily accessible to shopping districts and other Kyoto highlights. Fantastically clean, comfy bed, and, for such a small place, we didn't feel cramped at all. Found it easy to do laundry and there's quite a number of excellent restaurants nearby for breakfast and dinner. Would happily stay here again next time in Kyoto!
Remembering our stay in this place two years ago, we decided to return. It is easy to reach by public transport and conveniently located. However, during our one-week stay we saw only three times somebody in the Reception and nobody told us that we had to rent kitchen ware at Reception - two years ago it was for free and already partly present in the kitchen. We got a room at the ground floor - which was very advantageous because of our luggage - however, the little "balcony" was the home of 3 different air-conditioning equipments - thus not usable. It is very positive that the computer in the room provides guests with Internet. The room itself has much more space than comparable other Japanese inns. The bathroom is well equipped and is an advantage over typical Japanese inns.
Muy tranquilo, limpio y acogedor. Muy bien ubicado cerca de la estación y con una parada del bus 50 en la puerta. Como pega, decir que la cocina no está equipada.Más que recomendable para pasar unos días en Kioto a un precio contenido.

費用対効果が高く、経済性、セルフサービスが好きな旅行者、および洗濯や料理が好きな旅行者に適しています。洗濯機、台所用品、ガスストーブ、冷蔵庫、電子レンジオーブンがあり、鍋、道具、食器一式を500円でレンタルできます。洗った後はバスルームで乾かすことができるので、荷物の量を減らすことができます。場所は特に良くありませんが、玄関先には50番バスが通っています。バスチームの時刻表が良ければとても便利です。まずは停留所の看板にある時刻表の写真をドアから駅まで撮っておくことをお勧めします。カードは2分かかりません。硬いベッドで寝るのに慣れているのは、ベッドや枕が柔らかすぎるということだけですが、これは個人的な印象で、多くの人が寝ていると称賛しているそうです。次回京都に行くときにこのホームステイを検討します〜（原文）性價比高，對於喜歡經濟、自助，以及有洗衣、烹調的旅客來說相當適合。 房間裡就有洗衣機、廚具瓦斯爐冰箱微波爐，可用500日元租賃整套鍋具、用具、碗筷，衣服洗完可以在浴室裡烘乾，可有效減少行李量。 地理位置不算特優，但門口就有50號公車經過，車班若掌握好時間表，算是非常方便，建議入住者可以先把站牌上的時刻表拍下備用，從出房門到站牌不需兩分鐘。 唯一是習慣睡硬床的我們，覺得床與枕頭太軟了一些，但這是個人觀感，也聽過很多人稱讚好睡。 下次到京都會考慮這間民宿 ~
