一個很舒服的民宿！房間大又暖和，早餐十分豐盛。值得一提的是浴室如民宿提供的照片一樣乾淨。民宿附近也有免費接駁巴士到長坂纜車站，但因為一大早八點就要到纜車站，那時接駁車還沒運行。麻煩民宿主人開車接送我們一行十幾人到長坂站，還分了兩次接駁，只收取我們微薄的費用，真是太感激了！
We loved our stay. Very kind owners, close to the ski field (5 min walk to chair lift) and ski rental. Be prepared to sleep on traditional futons and there is a small onsen bath open from 4.30 daily, very relaxing and lovely after a ski!
Sato san went over and beyond by helping us with our delivery of snowboards to next destination and drove us to the bus stop at short notice as we might not have made it if we walked there.. superman! Very clean and comfy traditional japanese room. Also saw a fox there at night from our room window as we were watching the snow fall ! Amazing though short experience
This is a very wonderful inn experience. The owners are expert caretakers, and make sure that everything is perfect for their guests. The spacious and airy in is wonderful for groups, and is conveniently located near the Hachiman slope lift of Nozawa Onsen Ski Area, so some of the best powder skiing in the world is a short walk away. A real ski-in-ski-out experience.It was a wonderful memory staying here and I hope that I can stay again. Thank you so much!!
Welcomed by the owners with all the legendary politeness you are thinking of. |We enjoyed a wonderful stay In an very traditional inn. |The confort of sleeping on tatami is really good and gives good restful sleep. |Morning breakfast is amazing prepared with lots of nice items. |Was really memorable and recommends any one coming to Nozawa. |Might be a bit far from gondola but the very functional shuttle service make it a total non issue. |We will be back that is for sure
We stayed in a Japanese room, which was enough space for three of us. The nearest ski lift is within 150m across the road. The house is spotlessly clean and great value for money. The family running Villa South Fuji couldn’t have done more to help and be more welcoming despite limited English
We booked for 4 people a shared room, japanese style. The house is very fonctionnal, the rooms are lovely, and spaceful. I really loved the decoration and the atmosphere of this lodge ! Very well placed (3 min walk from the lift), the breakfast is delicious and worth to be tasted! The hosts were awesome ! they helped us more than what we deserved, get for us discounted lift passes, arranged taxi for us, even let my friend after her checkout, letting her naping on their couch and serving her hot tea !!! I can't believe how these people are lovely and nice ! I def would book it again if I come back to Nozawa !
This is a guest house, which mean shared bathroom and showers. the room, for western, is quite small as you can imagine, but it didn't kill the experience whatsoever. the futon were comfortable and the pillow quite an experience. showers and bathroom were spotless and extremely well maintained. villa south fuji offer a hot bath, which is not an onsen but rather nice after a day hitting the slopes. breakfast was a fully excellent loaded Japanese dish choices that will leave you full until the afternoon. dinner was a bit pricey at 20.000 yen but well worth it compare sone other restaurant in nozawa onsen.||communication was a bit rough but with some hand talking and little bit of help from handheld translator, request and demand were fully fulfilled. it was a great place to stay 5days for our family and surely will come back if it come to that.

The family who runs this accommodation is very helpful and kind. They have taken care of the place and keep it extremely clean and organized.The rooms were very spacious, clean and had a personal heater and windows over looking the town. There was a small drying rack.The owners sold discounted lift passes that required to line ups or search for where to buy a lift pass. They even allowed us to change our minds- we bought full day passes in the evening and in the morning exchanged them for half day passes.The bath room was very clean and hot water!The laundry facility was cheep 100 yen and the drying room was very warm and dry. Great gear storage room with a separate front door entrance to keep the lodge dry!The accommodation was very close to the first lift access that had zero lines even in a Saturday! And was at the base of the slack country exist!!!Great public onsens very close and nice a quite. 15 min walk to town.Highly recommend this place!!! It was lovely.
