和風旅館 上本町の特徴

駅近の立地で、アクセスが非常に便利です。

Location is good. Many food establishment nearby. Train stations nearby around 6 to 10 mins by walk.I liked that when we entered our room the AC is already on and room feels comfy already. Make sure to contact the owner ahead what time you will arrive.Room is clean but bathroom is kinda small.Some free Japanese snacks.
Small simple ryokan in a good location near Uehonbashi Kintetsu railway station, subway, shops as Donki, Muji, Uniqlo, but far from main Shin-Osaka station (20 min by taxi, 4000 yen).If you want to experience sleeping on futon on the floor, it's ok, however the pillows are hard (I bought a normal pillow at Muji). The room has A/C, fridge, kettle, no chairs. Bathroom is very small, difficult to set water temperature of shower (hot or cold). The walls are simple and noise from neighboring room is heard.Staff is mostly not in attendance, you have to write them an email to check in. They communicate in Japanese only😒 (they should use Whatsapp in English).Cleaning is done every 2 days, but fresh towels are provided daily.There is a very steep stairway to the rooms (not convenient for elderly or handicapped people). Impossible to carry a heavy suitcase up (staff would help). The front door stays open 24/7, but if someone locks the door by mistake, you stay in the street.As the generall comfort is lower, the price should be lower.
