There aren't many large, open areas around Hasama Station where wildlife can be observed, so this retention basin has real value. Bats fly overhead at dusk, herons, egrets, crows, and a variety of other birds relax and feed here, and frogs can be seen through the fence which runs alongside the railway-side of the basin.Cats are also present in between the basin and the adjacent filtration plant.

周辺のオススメ
この調整池が出来た80年頃は釣り堀化して賑わっていたんですよね。
今ではそんな面影は全くないですが。
