とてもきれいな川の沿いにあって、とても気持ち良かったです。
まだ外は比較的熱い時期でしたが、夜も涼しく快適にすごせました。
スカウトは素晴らしかったです！友達が主催しているお祭りに行ってきました私たちは東京に住んでいますが、東京からどれだけ近いかは驚きでした！そして、場所はきれいでした！あなたがイベントを主催してリトリートすることを考えている人なら、これはとても便利なので行く場所です。
ホステルのすぐ隣には文字通り川があり、食事スペース（イベントスペース）とベッドがあります。
完璧でした！また、スカウトは素晴らしかったです！彼のおもてなしはすごかった。
彼は誰もが快適に感じることを確認しました（一度ではありませんが、私たちがそこにいる間ずっと、彼は私たちに非常に熱心でした！私は彼の前でとても気にかけていました。

Stunning location. The beautiful river is right in the backyard!Scout is the most helpful and friendly host I have ever met. He recommended hiking trails, attractions and local secret places. He told in depth stories about the local area. He shuttled us back and forth Nikko station. He ordered dinners for us. He did my laundry (for 500yen, but that's to pay the laundromat). He made us amazing breakfasts (only if you booked through the hostel official website).Scout feels more like a foster dad to me than a host of hostel. He is super caring. I totally felt his love for Nikko, and he wants everyone visiting Nikko to have the most amazing experience. I had.And I will go back again to experience Nikko in springtime. And visit Scout.
Every time we visit Japan, we also take a trip to Nikko to spend a few days in the SPACE riverhouse hostel.Scout is an amazing host who goes to great lenghts to make sure everybody gets the most out of their stay. He will assist you with planning your days, be it hiking or visiting the various sightseeing spots and will provide you with maps, timetables and useful "insider" tips. We also like to spend a whole day at the hostel to relax, roam around the area (you can rent a bike!) and simply enjoy the surroundings - to us, it's one of the most beautiful places to be.Make sure to make your reservation via the official website to experience the full extent of Scouts excellent cooking skills.
Enjoyed spending time here, the indoor and outdoor common rooms are lovely. View is beautiful! Breakfast each morning has been delicious. Staying in one of the private rooms not attached to the main house and would stay here again, nice for extra privacy and ensuite toliet. Scout runs the house and is very helpful with area information, hiking maps and runs shuttles to town, train stations and bus stops.
This is one of the best and most interesting hostels I've stayed in! It's got a wonderful location on the riverbank and the hostel itself has a clean and interesting interior (especially the showers and outside deck). the owner was absolutely lovely and really went the extra mile to help us out. He also makes a mean breakfast! (but only if you book through the official website).
Fantastic place, just serene. Absolutely stunning location by the river, great to be away from the tourist area, and the owner makes it very easy to go back and forth with a free shuttle service. Speaking of the owner, our trip would not have been anywhere near as good as it was without him. An absolute mine of information about the local area, he recommended hiking routes, temples and onsen based on what we wanted! Can't wait to go back!
