I think this was my favorite restaurant in Kyoto. I’m a simple guy and simple foods like this done well gives me the greatest joy. The main guy here has been working for 30(?) years. I came in on a Friday night at 7:15pm by myself and was able to sit at the bar immediately. Right after me though was a rush of people and others had to be turned away. You have to order a minimum of 2 orders per type of dish. Everything was phenomenally done.

着席後のメニューテーブルに置いてはところ後ろからだ聞こえる」間のコク間コク」。
サントリーセンメク3杯せ串注文しようとするからちょうどくるりがところビールだけ与えて再びアンオム。
その狭い店でエヒュ...そして串注文だから、通常「ハイ」こういっていく子は「翁」こう感。
鶏皮串も怖い塩辛く与えられた（これは私が添付食べるだろう意図精通元このか判断できません）私ヌキンゲ間違えなければ、これは嫌韓です。
私を含む一行3人ともそんな感じ受けました。
社長は怖い親切なのに、従業員と一ついるのが私性交のにてるん見ると、夫婦であってもね。
行っていない、ここ以外にも食べにあります。

（原文）아줌마 혐한(?)임. 착석후 메뉴판 테이블에 놓고 가더니 뒤에서 다 들리게 '간코쿠 간코쿠' . 산토리 생맥 3잔 시키고 꼬치 주문하려고 하니까 그냥 휙 가더니 맥주만 주고 다시 안옴. 그 좁은 가게에서 에휴... 그리고 꼬치 주문하니까 보통 '하이'이러고 가는데 얘는 '옹'이러고 감. 닭껍질 꼬치도 겁나 짜게 주던데(이건 내가 첨 먹는거라 의도한건지 원래이런건지 판단 불가 )내가 느낀게 틀리지 않았다면 이건 혐한이에요. 저 포함 일행 3명 다 그런느낌 받았어요. 사장님은 겁나 친절한데 직원이라고 하나 있는게 저지랄인데도 있는거 보면 부부일수도 있겠네요. 가지 마세요 여기 말고도 먹을데 많습니다. 교토 참 아름다웠는데 여행 첫날부터 기분 잡쳤어요.

Everything was very good! And came fast. Two cons: the staff doesn't know any English (although there is a great English menu), and they allow smoking inside.
Very good dinner, great yakitori. Only reason didn't gave 5 is because it allows smoking inside.

Very nicely cooked Yakitori - relaxed atmosphere and very welcoming service. Loved the food and affordable too. I showed the chef my list of allergies and although he didn’t speak much English he was very accommodating to my special dietary requirements. Can recommend!
