What an incredible experience this was. Be sure to go as soon as you can, as they will be closing this down & moving. Even if you don't attend the tuna auction I'd recommend visiting as a buyer. Walk around, experience the sights, sounds & smells of a real piece of Japanese history.
A great place to go visit and eat some fresh fish - they let you wander the actual fish market after 10am.
Il mercato del pesce di Tokyo. Non sono riuscito ad assistere alla famosa asta dei tonni, ma l'esperienza è stata comunque unica. È il più grande mercato ittico del mondo, una vera cucina a cielo aperto. Nei banchetti che colorano la zona del mercato si possono gustare specialità di pesce freschissimo: tonno, sushi e fritto. Se andate a Tokyo non potete non visitarlo.
The place to go for fresh seafood. Get there early to avoid the crowd. Best toro and urchin :)
