Not just good for improving your level but because of the cultural events they put on, it is a great place to meet new people and feel more comfortable in the country. Lessons are flexible enough that there is pretty much something for everyone but also, the curriculum is comprehensive enough and their is enough support that you can make great progress when you put in the effort.

The staff and students are a warm community of people who want to help you succeed with your learning goals. The school also hosts events such as Sushi Class, Japanese Cooking Class, and cultural field trips. This is a really great Japanese school and I highly recommend anyone who is thinking about studying Japanese in Tokyo to choose this school if you can afford it. One downside is that they do not offer long term visas - but if you are living in Japan and looking for a Japanese school - this is the perfect place!

Coto was an awesome place to study Japanese!They make learning fun and have a great system. I really enjoyed how we added new kanji each day and did quizzes each week.The teachers are wonderful people and genuinely invested in your success. What's more, if you go on the outings with them, they help you improve your Japanese out of the classroom too!Coto is a stylish place with a good vibe and you will not regret your time with them. I studied there for 2 months of the intensive program and it was 100% worth every penny!
I took a part-time course here. I am around JLPT N3 level . The course materials were very clear and easy to understand and the staff were friendly. The teachers here are great. School is very nice and has relaxed atmosphere.
I studied at Coto Academy for just one month doing the crash course, and even in those four weeks I learned a lot. The teachers were very nice and very helpful with anything. I wish there were a bit more activities (I could not afford the ski trip), but the existing amount was very reasonable. Would love to come study here again when/if I move to Japan full-time. Would definitely recommend!
I attended Coto Language Academy for about 7 months. I moved to Tokyo from Los Angeles for my husband's work and had to learn Japanese quickly. The teachers are very nice and welcoming and the small class size is perfect. The website is easy to use and the administration staff are very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!
