In the meantime, I have received so much assistance from the School regardless of questions asked, or problems that come up. The staff is so kind and helpful, They respond in a timely manner and are very professional. I feel very grateful to have the opportunity to learn Japanese at Kai Japanese Language School. I have finished the Level 1 course online, and I am currently a student in the Level 2 course. Not only have I learned a lot but I've come to really enjoy working with my teachers as well as the students and the staff at this school. They have a great way of teaching. Also being in Japan and doing activities helped me learn a lot of language as well.The activities they provided for the 3 weeks were absolutely amazing, there wasn’t a day that went by where I didn’t have fun and I learnt new things about Japan everyday.It also allowed me to meet so many amazing people from all over the world and we all got along so well together. Kai is like one big family!Thank you Kai for an amazing experience!I would definitely recommend this school!

Location is quite terrible due to a crowded area (shin-okubo seems to be packed 24/7) but it's central tokyo so not gonna complain here.Great teachers except for one older lady who barely knew english and had the worst teaching method and extremely quiet voice. Other than her, really loved all the teachers. Classes are very interactive, my classmates and I joked with the sensei basically the entire class. Summer session focuses on practical japanese phrases, words and usage so it's very useful in and outside of school. Class was quite diverse so it was fascinating to learn about other cultures as well. Class size turned out to be quite perfect at around 10 or so for the summer sessions. Really enjoyed my time there and good classmates make a huge difference along with awesome teachers.
I went to an appointment to join the class here part of the way through the term. I was given a Japanese test which I found very difficult as it was lines of hiragana with no spacing or kanji. While I had already studied Japanese by myself, the only time you ever encounter hiragana only are in children's books (aimed at children already fluent in spoken Japanese). In the real world there is always kanji to differentiate between homonyms as there are many of these in the Japanese language. If it is a kanji above the level of the reader, often kanji and furigana is used.The man who gave me the test sneered and said "you can't read this?", looked down his nose at me an then left without speaking. A woman then came over and told me that they wouldn't accept me into the class. If this is how you are taught in class, the teachers are rude and are trying to teach non-native learners like native speakers which doesn't work.
Hope your school is doing well. It would make up for the poor quality customer service. Compared to other schools in the area, this one is not helpful or interested in helping. Thanks for nothing.

複数の日本語学校を見て回りましたが、ここまで最悪な対応は初めてでした。
学校見学とはいかに学生が入学したいか、学校の良さを伝える機会ではないのでしょうか？学校の良さは伝わらなかったし、この学校はあなたにはお勧めできませんとしか言われてない気がしました。
友人のために伺いましたが、絶対にお勧めはしません。
メールで問い合わせをした際は、学校の良さなど迅速に伝えて下さったので、メール対応は良いと思います。

The school integrated the use of technology such as iPad for the general courses. Classes can be intensive but the teachers and staff are always ready to help. The students studying there come from many different countries and so it’s a good place to make friends with people of diverse age and backgrounds.
