この素晴らしいブティックホテルにこの7月に滞在しましたが、すばらしかったです。
なんて素晴らしいホストで、ホテル全体に美しいスペースがあります。
ゲストを歓迎するために多くの考えと注意が払われます。
彼らの朝食も素晴らしいですし、私のようなビーガンにとってもです。
素敵なサロンでリラックスしてドリンクを飲んだり、静かに仕事をしたりすることもできます。

（原文）Hotel Mume, what a special place. We stayed at this wonderful boutique hotel this past July and it was completely amazing. What wonderful hosts, and beautiful spaces throughout the hotel. Much thought and care goes into making guests feel welcome. Their breakfasts are also incredible, and even for vegans like myself. You can even relax in their lovely salon where you and have a drink, and even work quietly if you so desire. The hosts are incredibly helpful in suggestions for sightseeing. You won't find a better hotel in Kyoto.

2014年に東京を訪れたときにここに来ましたが、ホテルムメへの訪問を思い出します。
本当に素晴らしい滞在でした。
スタッフはとてもフレンドリーで居心地が良く、部屋は美しく、朝食はとても美味しくて新鮮です。

（原文）This is the most beautiful accommodation I have stayed in. I came here when I visited Tokyo back in 2014 and I still think back on my visit to Hotel Mume, it was truly a wonderful stay. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the rooms are beautiful and the breakfasts are so delicious and fresh. If you are able to budget to stay at Mume, I would greatly recommend it, it's such a lovely stay. It's also quite conveniently located, being closeby to amenities and within a beautiful neighbourhood.I've come across Mume now as I plan my next trip back to Japan and I hope to stay there again!

ホテルは祇園地区の中心部に位置しています（原文）Verzorgd smaakvol hotel van alle gemakken voorzien, prima badkamer, goed bed, smaakvol ingericht. Personeel erg vriendelijk, misschien soms een beetje TE. Altijd bereid te helpen. Ontbijt veel zelf gemaakt , erg lekker. Drankjes, koffie, niets is te veel. hotel ligt centraal in het Gion District
祇園、東山、京都北東部を訪れる予定の方には絶好のロケーション。
すべての部屋に泊まり、そして彼らの「花」部屋を好む。
ただし、春や秋の初めには、バルコニーとバスルームのエリアは少し寒くなります。
訪問の日の後、夕食に行く前に彼らのバーで（彼らの幸せな時間の間に）２、３杯の飲み物を持っていることはいつもよかったです。
朝食はシンプルで健康的でした。
自家製ジャムと焼きたてのパンはいい感じでした。
サービスはいつもいいです。
（原文）Great location if planning to visit Gion, Higashiyama and Northeast Kyoto. Stayed in all the rooms, and prefer their 'Flower' room. However, during early Spring or Autumn, the balcony and bathroom area gets a bit cold to linger around. After a day of visit, it was always nice to have a couple of drinks at their bar (during their happy hour) before going for dinner. Breakfast was simple and wholesome. The freshly baked breads with homemade jam was a nice touch. Service is always good.

My wife and I had a fantastic 3-night stay in Hotel Mume, which was by far the absolute best of our 2-week trip to Japan. From the moment we arrived we received the warmest welcome, and were treated like the first guests the hotel had seen- that’s how special we felt! Key highlights:- The absolute number 1 pro about Mume is its fantastic staff. They simply cannot do enough for their guests. I didn’t fully understand what the other reviewers meant by this before we went (as we’ve stayed at other lovely hotels before where the staff are super helpful) but Mume staff take it to another level. As an example, they offered to help book a restaurant one evening, tried persistently to get through by phone, but when they couldn’t they walked down to the actual restaurant to book for us. It was also so lovely to meet the owner on arrival who welcomed us warmly from day 1- the complimentary drinks btwn 5-7pm is such a lovely touch and in a great setting (salon room overlooking the little Kyoto streets/canal). They have a great choice of drinks. - it was our honeymoon and my birthday during our stay. My wife discreetly asked them to advise on where a small cake could be bought- they kindly arranged going and getting a delicious chocolate mini cake and presented it beautifully to me for breakfast. They really do go above and beyond. - the breakfast is delicious and varies slightly each day. In particular, the fresh breads and interesting jams were my favourite. And the fresh fruit bowls. I could go on and on about this hotel, but if you’re reading this and wondering whether or not to book Mume, do it - you won’t be disappointed!

Wonderful stay here. The hotel only has eight rooms and the rooms are all quite charming. The entire staff is incredibly helpful and gracious. The breakfast in the morning is filling and delicious. At night there is a happy hour with drinks and the staff will help direct you to a restaurant for a nice meal. For anyone who hasn't been to Kyoto before, I cannot recommend this hotel enough!
Stayed four nights at Mume and were most satisfied. The level of attention and personal feeling, all the help with the bookings and the hotel itself was beyond anything we’ve ever experienced. 5/5 no doubt. It’s not luxury per se but very very thought through. Breakfast was excellent and healthy. Coffee very good (Nespresso capsules). Sightseeing tips felt genuine including how to avoid some of the tourist traps. Only possible downside I guess is if you are the kind of person who don’t want to be attended to - because you will be at Mume,including print out maps of where your restaurant is located and help opening the front doors at any time. So just relax and let the Mume staff take care of you and you’ll surely have a great Kyoto experience.

iM SO STAYING IN THIS HOTEL IT HAS FREE WIFI AND BREAKFAST SOLD
After trekking the Kumano Kodo trail, itself a great experience, this was a beautiful oasis of luxury and tasteful elegance. Low key but wonderful hospitality in a mix of traditional Japanese and sophisticated international. The facilities were chic and beautifully presented in a boutique package reminiscent of a New York or London boutique hotel. The rooms were very well appointed and luxurious and the staff could not do enough for you. The owner introduced herself and she was delightful. A nice feature, happy hour was not just discounted drinks but free! It was a great location too, right in the heart of the restaurant and bar district and walking distance from the Temple area. Will definitely go back and thoroughly recommend it as one of the best hotels we have stayed in around the world.
Very cute boutique hotel. The staff is wonderful and they speak perfect English. We've read reviews that the staff is too talkative, but that's unfair to judge them by that. They won't take offense if you simply tell them that you need to get going. The staff is what makes the hotel amazingly comfortable. It's clean, charmingly decorated, and generally conveniently located within the Kyoto. Highly recommend.
