Always has the best deals on groceries and gives me the back at home feeling of shopping.
The Commissary do their best to stock up on American Grocery store goods and their services are always good. They might not have everything all the time but they'll try and get it.

Cashiers are always friendly and professional. Deli is friendly but uninformed about their products. Some of the cold cuts sub-standard. There is limited supplies available. Product quality is questionable and vegetable prices are ridiculously priced. They lack variety on spices both typical American and international. Hard to find many Latin products.
Discounted grocery story with local produce. Frozen foods section is excellent
I highly recommend leaning as much as you can about shopping at a Japanese grocery store and going there instead. This commissary just doesn't have much, and when they do get items in stock, many residents "stock pile" items in their freezer. So things run out quickly. If you are getting stationed here soon, plan on buying things online... A lot. They have a laughable variety of cat and dog food as well. Nothing that my cat can actually eat, so we've had to add that to the list of things to buy on Amazon. It's just a bummer because it puts the post office under even more strain.
They provide the comforts of home, but not enough to support the entire base. They need to plan better for the holiday rush.
Smaller than some of the ones I’ve been to, selection is good for the size though and it is very clean.
A good selection of products and very helpfuland friendly staff. Couldn't ask for better. Well done.
