手頃な価格の日本人向けの小さな学校。
彼らは学習の要求に対応するために彼らの邪魔をせず、スタッフはスケジュールとサポートについて非常に積極的です。
(原文)A great and affordable little school for Japanese. They go out of their way to accommodate requests for learning, and the staff is very proactive about scheduling and support.
Awesome Japanese school for those who want to study at own paces while also leveling up intensively. I've been studying the private class for roughly 3 years and feel great about my improvement so far. The curriculum is standardized and customized at the same time. The school uses popular books e.g. Minna no Nihongo or Genki, along with original worksheets, but you can always choose your own books or ask for any that matches your level/purposes. Like other comments pointed out, the classroom might not be as fabulous as other schools but that works for an hour or two of study, and yes, makes the tuition more affordable.
I took eight lessons at this language school. The teacher was kind, though ineffective, but it was ultimately the gentleman who is the owner/manager that drove me away. (Forgive me that I don't know his specific position title.) The teacher at this school was a nice woman who did her best with me. I have a mild learning disability, so I don't learn the same way as other students. She tried to work with me, but really did not have the training or pedagogical skills to help me. This teacher could not tell me effective study techniques, could not help me make a daily study plan, and could not answer reasonable pedagogical questions. These skills do not come naturally to me as they seem to for normal students, so I mostly found my lessons to be a rehash of material I already knew intellectually but could not figure out how to practice in the real world. The teacher made me quite alarmed at what turned out to be my last lesson because, in the final few minutes, she asked me to remind her "what we are supposed to be doing in these lessons...speaking? reading?...." In other words, she did not have any curricular direction or goal, and hadn't bothered to ask about it, for the entire sequence of eight lessons we had just completed! I found it very unprofessional. But my real dismay came from the owner/manager gentleman. At my introductory meeting, he dismissed my learning disability and language learning concerns, making comments such as, "Come on, it's not THAT hard." I knew that he was not going to be my teacher, just organizing the schedule, so I still went forward with the lessons because the teachers I had met had been kind and welcoming. One week, I was late to my lesson by four minutes. I was not happy about this, but sometimes that is how life plays out and I had never been late previously. When I rushed into the school, the owner/manager gentlemen snarked at me, "You're late." I did not appreciate being treated so disrespectfully. The straw that broke the camel's back was when my concerns about the noise level of some other students was ignored. This topic actually brings up an important side note: The pictures of the interior of this school are not accurate. The school is one large room divided into small lesson spaces with blanket-covered dividers that DO NOT reach the ceiling. In other words, there are no rooms, just small spaces with partial dividers that allow a lot of sound to bleed over from space to space. I was struggling because two boys having a joint lesson were getting louder and louder every week. Their teacher enjoyed their enthusiasm and got loud herself, rather than respecting the other teachers and students and controlling her lesson volume. When I expressed concern that I couldn't hear my lessons through the noise, the owner/manager gentleman told me that there was nothing to be done about the problem and I would just have to endure it. (Apparently, asking the teacher to control the volume level or moving me away from the boys wasn't going to be considered.) Of course, I didn't have to endure anything because I did not renew my contract.
Nice school, professional teachers, good location. They help me to learn and improve my Japanese in a properly way, based on my needs and my commitments.Thank you so much to all my teachers
Mix bag of teachers: some great, some pretty poor. The owner is flexible and tries to help but really is only interested in getting your money rather than your actual learning.
I have spent 4 weeks in Tokyo to start to learn Japanese with J’s Japanese Language School in private lesson. And I haven’t seen time spent.J’s Japanese Language School proposes lessons in a very friendly and relax environment with a quality of lecture. The teachers were very professional, pleasant and patient. A very good place to learn Japanese at his own pace. Moreover, they were very helpful to give information about what to do in Tokyo as well as good adresses where to discover good Japanese food...Definitely, I will come back here to carry on to study Japanese.Eric
柔軟性、使いやすさ、従量制の課金システムにより、7か月前に東京に引っ越したとき、Jが私の選択になりました。
私の学習の進歩は私にとどまることを確信させました。
私はJを他の有名な学校と比較しましたが、なぜ彼らが自分のタイミングと条件でこれらの効果的な教師から学ぶことができるのに、誰もが厳格な計画で何千ドルも前払いする理由を理解しません私は今、多くの一般的な状況で会話することができ、日本語での強固な基盤を持っています。
そして、私はクラスで楽しんでいます!(原文)Flexibility, friendliness and a pay-as-you-go billing system made J's my choice when I moved to Tokyo 7 months ago. My learning progress has convinced me to stay. I compared J's to other big name schools and I just don't understand why anyone would pay thousands of dollars up-front on a rigid plan when they could learn from these effective teachers on their own timing and terms. I am now able to converse in many common situations and have a solid foundation in Japanese. And I have fun in class!
