御神体は、健御雷之男命（タケミカヅチノオノミコト）をはじめとする、古来より戦いの神様として尊敬された摩利支天の神々と加藤清正公。
明治元年（1868年）に大原野神社と改称され、時津野田・左底・久留里・長崎市横尾の氏神として祀られる。

Seemingly abandoned shrine at the stop of a mountain. Great view of the city from the top. Definitely NOT a shrine you can take a stroll around: definitely wear hiking shoes or sneakers. Lots of stairs to get to the top, about 40 minutes from the base
