実際に行ってみて感じたのは、失礼ながらかなり寂れた田舎の神社、という感じ。
名前も「溝谷神社」という地名を冠した一般的なもので、そんなに古く歴史があり、意義深いものだとはわからない。
解説板など何もないので、この神社の重要性は地元の人ですら知らないのでないか。
本殿は比較的新しく立派ではあるが、境内社の朽ち果て具合がすさまじい。
どんな神さまが祀られているかもわからない。
石段もガタガタ。
氏子のみなさま、あるいは地元出身の都市在住の成功者の方々、この神社の護持に力をつくしてもらいたい。
Mizotani Shrine : It has a healing power : Mizotani Shrine is located in the south-east of Amino Station in a village called Yasaka-cho. The shrine was built in this place to enshrine a guardian for a safe trip. According to its historical record there wan a person who was assigned to visit Tango by emperor. On his way back he was troubled by rainstorm so he prayed to a daity of Susano Mikoto in this place and he could make safe trip back home. 溝谷神社：癒しの力がある：溝谷神社は、網野駅の南東、八坂町という村にあります。
神社は、安全な旅行のために保護者を祀るためにこの場所に建てられました。
その歴史的記録によると、皇帝によってタンゴを訪問するように割り当てられた人がいました。
帰り道、暴風雨に悩まされていたので、この場所でスサノオの神様に祈って、無事に帰宅できました。
近くには素敵なひまわり畑と満願寺というお寺があります。
この神社の正確な場所は、ルート53とルート57が出会う地点のすぐ隣です。
