なかなか長閑な宿です。
一泊させて頂き、癒されて最高の思い出ができました。
大学生です。
高校時代の友人と6人で宿泊しました。
茅葺き屋根の家の内部は非常に綺麗でとても趣がありました。
周囲に他の旅行者がいないので、非常に落ち着くことができました。
オーナーさんはとてもフランクで、大学生の僕達にとって非常に有意味な話をたくさん聞かせてくれました。
また、田舎ならではの体験もたくさんさせていただきました。
ご飯もとても美味しかったです。
田舎ならではの自然と古民家ならではの暖かさが印象的でした。
旅館やホテルなどのかしこまった感じとは違って、親戚の家に遊びに行った感覚で、かなりリラックスできました。
布団に寝そべりながら拝む、窓の外に広がる雪景色が最高でした！車で数分のところにかやぶきの里があって、観光もできました。
都会の混雑した喧騒から離れて、京都の田園地帯で異なる経験をしたい人にお勧めの宿泊施設（原文）Recommended accommodation to anyone looking for a different experience in the Kyoto countryside, away from the hustle and bustle of crowded city locations
What a magical place with fantastic hosts! Hideo and his wife Yukako carved out a nice life for themselves and their guests in this quaint farming town outside of Kyoto. I've traveled to Japan several times & this was easily the best hosting I've ever experienced. We cooked together (Yuka san worked as a sous chef at a michelin star Japanese restaurant in Kyoto!! If you want to learn anything she's very happy to share), ate together, we laughed together, and had so much fun! Hideo knows every single person in this town, and has a ton of cool hobbies. (as do I so we got along fast). He's growing mushrooms, veggies, rice, riding motorcycles, and they even have a little cafe business. Hideo has special permission to show you ancient forests you'd never be able to see without him. They have 3 very friendly dogs that make you feel really at home. Their old style thatched roof house is full of charm and old Japanese character but at the same time has all the amenities you'd expect in a nice hotel. You have it all to yourself, they live in a house on the other side of the driveway next to the "cafe house" were you'll meet for amazing Japanese dinners or breakfast. They're also more than happy to let you just do your own thing but I think that would be a mistake, not getting to know these amazing people!

お宿周りは自然が溢れ、子供たちは夢中で遊んでいましたね^^ 茅葺き屋根のお宿に興味があり宿泊致しましたが、屋根下はとても雰囲気がよくいい想い出になりました。
気のいい夫婦が運営されている民宿です．料理は最高です．またレンタカーを借りることもできるので，付近の散策に利用できます．

周辺のオススメ
We stayed one night and had a great time. The kayabuki is very comfortable to stay in and has all you need. The kitchen is well appointed and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was simple and good. It is the hosts that make it a special place with their great hospitality. A big thank you to Hideo-san and Yukako-san for offering their old thatched roof farmhouse for stays. Will be back!
