This place is amazing! Tak runs a fantastic hostel. If you have been to japan before or this is your first time I definitely recommend yawp! The town is beautiful and quite. Tak loves taking people out and showing them the way of having fun the Japanese way. Tak was a backpacker himself so he has many stories to share. If you want to go somewhere where you feel like family I can’t recommend a better place.
YAWP! Backpacker's is a great hostel. The owner Tak is a very nice guy and knows where all the best places to eat are. He's great at getting everyone at the hostel together and organizing group eat outs. The beds are very comfortable and I always have great sleeps. I would definitely recommend this hostel.
Tak-san is an amazing Host!
A superb hostel with a class act of an owner with a clear passion for travel, and exchanging cultures. Tak the owner took a group of us to a local bar for some amazing food, beer, and a bunch of laughs. He is full of recommendations and is happy to share his knowledge of Tokyo and Japanese customs. If you want to get away from the expensive tourist traps and eat good local Japanese food Yawp is a great choice.
A very nice, homey place. The owner, Tak, is very involved with his guests, and group trips to dinner or karaoke are frequent. It's quite far from the action in Tokyo, but it's also one of the most fun and affordable places to stay in this amazing city. Free drinks and snacks too.
安かろう悪かろうの宿先日、泊まったが、まず整理整頓されていない。
自分の持ち物か宿の備品かがわからなくなる。
これだと、必然的に紛失のトラブルが多くなる。
旅先で自分のものが紛失したり、またほかの宿泊者のものや宿の所有物がなくなってあらぬ疑いをかけられたりしたら、いやな気分になるだろう。
オーナーは、１８時までにどこでなにをしてるのか？チェックイン後の２０時以降に掃除をしだすのは、あまりにもルーズではないか。
外国のバックパッカー宿ならばそれも許されるであろうが、日本でその低レベルのホスピタリティはどうかと思う。
なぜなら外国の安宿は、日本円に換算すれば数百円なのだから。
こう書くと、「高級料亭旅館ではない」と反論されそうだが、こちらも上げ膳据え膳を希望してるわけではない。
ただ、３０００円程度で、数ランク上のホスピタリティを実践しているゲストハウスは関東圏内でも数多くあることを知ってほしい。
