私達は珍しく日本人でした😉スタッフは全員外国人です。
受付にはフランス人、トルコ人、朝食時にはモンゴル人、韓国人。
オーナーは日本人の男性らしいです。
アットホームな雰囲気で、多国籍な人たちと触れ合える機会が得られます。
夜10時までに使えるロビーのドリンクコインが渡され、トルコ人のお姉さんにジン・トニックを作ってもらいました。
普段日本で旅行するときとは違う体験が出来ました。
I highly recommend this hotel. Very clean and excellent service in a very very good location. You can walk to most places and also very close to station if you come by train. International breakfast was also very rich and fresh. Will definitely stay again if I go to Kyoto.

（原文）Absolutely amazing experience!! Best boutique hotel that you can stay at in Kyoto. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Also, hotel is in a great location. It is very close to different train lines and the busy streets of Gion, however this hotel is located on a quiet side street. We would definitely like to return to Hotel Ethnography when we return to Kyoto and would recommend it to everyone that would like a clean and nice stay in Kyoto.

朝食もすごくおいしいです。
目の前にコンビニもあって、夜に何サモクギお勧めします。
京都メインストリートラン遠くない遅れ入っすぐ到着し。
路上でも暗くない危険ない。
宿泊施設の前の木は本当にイプム雨の時は傘も用意しズームします。
朝食ない食べるとお弁当の包装てかと尋ねることもあります。
グッド！（原文）직원분들 친절하시고 영어를 참 잘하심. 객실은 정말 깨끗합니다.조식도 엄청맛있어요. 바로앞에 편의점도 있어서 밤에 뭐 사먹기 좋습니다.교토 메인거리랑 멀지않아 늦게 들어가도 금방 도착하고.길거리도 어둡지않아 위험하지않아요.숙소앞 나무는 참 이쁨비올땐 우산도 챙겨줌.조식 못먹으면 도시락으로 포장해주냐고 물어보기도 합니다. 굿!

This is a rare, exquisite find. A small hotel nestled in the heart of Kyoto, with Gion and Sanjo at arms reach. The experience was amazing since it is, truly, locally designed and managed. You can see it in the smallest of details - the furniture that are designed by Kyoto craftsmen, the breakfast which includes a fine, curated selection of Kyoto delicacies, the small Japanese garden and even the way the halls are built. The service was impeccable and personal. If you want to make your stay in Kyoto comfortable yet meaningful and educating - this is the place for you.
Hotel is new, all staff are fluent in English. A little far from the station but still walkable. Given that it's a very new hotel, their beds are rock hard but if you placed a comforter underneath, it's comfortable Awesome complimentary breakfast delivered fresh from local shops
מלון מגניב באמצע קיוטו! גיון זה מקום נהדר קרוב לכל הדברים הכי יפים בעיר. מומלץ מאד! יש לרשת מלון נוסף עם שם דומה מאד ברחוב סמוך אז שימו לב איזה הוא שלכם! שינמונזן ופורומונזן. למלון הזה קוראים אתנוגרפי פורומונזן :)

周辺のオススメ
Great location - quiet but very central and within walking distance to the major sights. We had a lovely stay at the ground floor room with a peaceful view overlooking the garden. The room itself was beautiful and spacious with a sizable bathroom (including a bathtub) and a great range of amenities. Shoutout to Jacopo at reception - thank you for being so friendly and kind! This was the best hotel we stayed at in Japan and this is our second trip here. We will gladly stay here again when we return to Kyoto.
