（原文）This gym was really fun to join, I intend to check it out again sometime and the people there are also really nice. It’s a good way to get a workout and meet people skilled in the art of BJJ and MMA.
Visited this gym as a purple belt from the Marcelo Garcia Academy in New York. The level of talent honestly shocked me, it was higher than many gyms I've been to in the States. I visited on a gi BJJ day. Class consisted of a 30 minute technique session taught by a black belt and then ~2 hours of free rolling. It seemed like people were coming and going so I think you can roll as much or as little as you want. The mat space is kind of small, but it wasn't too crowded so it was ok. There is no shower but there is a bathroom. Pretty sure they have loaner gis if you didn't bring one. Mat fee was 2000 yen for the day. Most people didn't speak English but there were at least two people on that mat that could speak when I went.Everyone was very nice and, like I said, the talent was surprisingly high. I got beat up worse than I usually do at Marcelos, which doesn't happen very often. Great gym, I highly recommend checking them out if you're in the area.

Great gym! Dropped in for a few striking and BJJ classes while traveling through Japan and the coaches and students were so welcoming even though my husband and I didn’t speak any Japanese. Classes are technical and high-level! Instructor teaches very thoroughly. Students are also very talented and helpful. Highly recommend this gym to anyone living in or traveling to Kyoto. Thanks for everything Miburo MMA!
