正保年間(1644～1648)頃に建てられ、その後焼失し明和年間(1764～1772)に再建されたとのことです。
府内城を見てからこちらに来ましたが断然こちらが良いです。
趣きある現存櫓。
中には入れませんでした。

This part of the castle ruins occupies one corner of the big castle grounds. There are many access points but the nearest one is an inner street in the neighborhood or by following the street signs for the tsunami shelter while walking on the main road. You can check the pictures to see the actual roads leading to this place.
