Just a note to foreigners visiting dental clinics in Japan -- If you have any expectations of service similar to back home, search online exactly for what you are looking, print it out and ask the dentist if they can perform the same procedures. In my case, almost every time, the cleaning is usually down at a minimal level whereas I want a thorough process: 1. general cleaning with an ultrasonic scaler; 2. fine cleaning using a scaler (most time consuming); 3. checking with floss or paper strips in the gaps for more fine scaling; 4. polishing ... Just saying so, you'll get an aizuchi response, but you'll be left much disappointed. This happens almost everytime anywhere ...... But here, the dentist was awesome after our initial misunderstanding and became very thorough with his explanations as well as listening carefully to what I needed done!A true professional with excellents skills and technique!
