Magical forrest, full of spirits and witches. It comes with its own bamboo forest and a waterfall.
OIWA-San is a very talented wood carver. He is very welcoming and speaks very good English. He was very happy to show us his work which is beautiful.
I went there when i was lost with my friend and we met that talented woodcrafter ... Seriously it was the best part if our trip ... We felt like we were in a fairly tale, we found his small workplace in the middle of a hole in the wood and he predicted our future and our wishes We were so happy when we were talking with him and when we saw his work which was amazing The hole itself is very beautiful and the water from the waterfall was soooo pure and revival. 日本で今までに行った中で最も美しく、静かで平和な場所のひとつ。
水はとても穏やかです。
神社の再建と修復を手伝っている木工職人の大岩さんに必ず会ってください。
通常の京都の観光トレイルからは程遠いですが、本当に訪れるべき場所です。
（原文）Magical place. One of the most beautiful, silent and peaceful places I've ever been to in Japan. The waterful is so serene. Make sure you meet Oiwa-san, the woodworker who is helping to rebuild and restore the shrine. It's far off the usual Kyoto tourist trails, but its somewhere you really should visit.
