A friendly and welcoming Dojo that provide a great first experience for those wishing to give Kendo a go.
Training at Kyumeikan Kendo Dojo was the best part of my four months in Tokyo. I spent just over two months with the dojo, and the experience was unforgettable. Kato Sensei, Takahashi Sensei, Oka Sensei, Tsukada Sensei, and all the senseis, are incredibly kind, welcoming, and passionate teachers. The students were just as friendly and eager to include me from day one.Whether you’re curious about the samurai spirit that lives on through kendo or just want a unique and meaningful experience, I highly recommend visiting Kyumeikan, even just once. You won’t regret it. I’ll be heading straight back the moment I return to Tokyo!
Tokyo Kyumeikan Dojo is by far one of the greatest experiences of my life. From the hospitality to the care during instructional moment. I felt like I was getting all that the teachers, and environment had to offer. Affirming my love for the sword, and a new love for Kendo. One of the rare gems in Kendo, Kyumeikan is a wonderful Kendo dojo for anyone. The senseis here are welcoming, patient, and excellent teachers. Kyumeikan really embraces the internationalization of Kendo, allowing anyone from any background to come and practice and I cannot be thankful enough for this dojo in aiding in my growth as a kendoka.

非常传统日本的道场，学习剑道和居合道一定要来这里，这里有很多外国人的老师和学生（中、韩、美、德、法），都非常友善、负责，氛围温馨 体验日本传统文化或者想学习剑道居合，这里绝对推荐！
