日蓮宗 安隆寺の特徴
小木町の傾斜に立つ、印象的で立派なお寺です。
安隆寺からは絶景の景色が楽しめ、心が和みます。
風邪の中でも対応してくださったご住職が印象的です。
明暦2(1656)年に廻船問屋の風間長右衛門が土地を寄進し、元小木から移転したと伝えられる日蓮宗の寺院です。
仁王門、鐘楼堂、三十番神石板などがあります。
高台にあり、港や町を一望することができます。

佐渡の歴史を感じることのできる日蓮宗のお寺です。
佐渡は江戸時代、流刑の島として知られました。
流された人の中で有名なうちの一人が日蓮上人です。
1271年から約2年半を佐渡の地で過ごしました。
幕府の赦しが出ると、弟子の日朗が赦免状を持って佐渡へと向かいます。
しかし、途中で嵐に遭い船は難破してしまいました。
辛くも陸地に流れ着いた日郎は一晩中お経を唱え続けます。
このことからその島は経島と呼ばれるようになりました。
翌朝、漁師に発見された日郎は師匠のもとへ赦免状を届けることに成功します。
このできごとに縁を感じ、近所のお寺の住職は禅宗から日蓮宗に改宗しました。
後に安隆寺と名乗るようになります。
いくつもの歴史ある建造物が残されており、中でも祖師堂は17世紀中頃に建てられた小木町内最古の建物です。
仁王門へと至る石段からは小木の町を一望することができます。
This is a Nichiren Buddhism temple where you can feel the history of Sado Island.Sado was known as an island of exile during the Edo period.One of the most famous of those who were exiled was Nichiren Shonin (founder of Nichiren Buddhism).He spent about two and a half years on Sado from 1271.When the Shogunate pardoned him, his disciple Nichiro went to Sado with a letter of pardon. On the way, however, the ship was shipwrecked by a storm.After narrowly making it to land, Nichiro continued chanting sutra all night long.This led to the island being called Sutra Island.The next morning, Nichiro was found by fishermen and succeeded in delivering a letter of pardon to his master.Feeling a connection to this event, the head priest of a nearby temple converted from Zen Buddhism to Nichiren Buddhism. The temple later changed its name to Anryuji Temple.A number of historic buildings remain, among them the Soshido, the oldest building in Ogi Town, built in the mid-17th century.The stone steps leading up to the Niomon Gate offer a panoramic view of Ogi Town.
小木町の山側傾斜に有る印象的な立派なお寺さんです。
最初は宿根木に有った。
小木港が繁栄して今の場所に移転したそうです。
山門からの町並み景色も素敵です。
住職さんは５０年在職だそうです。
檀家の方の協力で整備されています。
梅、桜の咲く頃にまた伺います。
町中から車で伺う事は難しいです。
山側から寺裏の道路を利用すれば１台位は駐車させて頂けるそうです。
道が狭いので軽自動車で行くと良いです。
オヤジの、墓参りに年に１度は訪れます。
階段降りる時に、『また来るからね』と思います。
お寺も立派ですが、お寺からの景色も良いですね。
分かりにくい所 自動車も停められませんが必ず参拝しましょうご住職 風邪で体調悪いのに対応くださいました。
