配偶者ビザの延長のために入国管理局を訪問しました。
水曜日の朝、混雑を避けるために最初に到達しましたが、午前9時に他の応募者はいませんでした。
警官は親切で効率的で、スムーズに処理できました。
オフィスは1階の建物の中に少し入っていますが、警備員の叔父はとてもフレンドリーで、私たちをオフィスに案内してくれました。
（原文）Visited the immigration office for spouse visa extension. Reached first thing in a Wednesday morning to avoid crowd but at 9am there were no other applicants. The officer was kind and efficient with smooth processing. The office is located slightly into the building on the first floor but the security guard uncle is very friendly and pointed us to the office.

妻が中国出身（ハルビン市方正県）なのですが、約8年前に「日本人の配偶者等」という査証（ビザ）を取得（中国で婚姻手続き後日本で入籍）したときも、約２ヶ月で在留資格認定証明書の取得ができ、また、その後の永住許可の際も息子が日本国籍を取得していたのもありますが、比較的早く許可がおりた記憶があります。
今度、妻の中国の両親が、「親族訪問」で来日し、在留期間更新許可申請の際もいち早く許可がおりました。
妻も妻の両親も感謝しています。
