いいお宿です。
派手さはないし、適当なところは適当だけど、食事の質など手を抜いちゃいけないところはちゃんとおさえている…といった印象。
温泉はかなり熱いですが、むしろ源泉感あってよし！
品がある流石老舗旅館、粋な感じがします。

田中湯本にやどりて座敷から湯にと入るや初時雨。
私はここ数年前に日本のスタイルの部屋に滞在しましたが、おそらく日本を訪れている間に私が滞在した中で最も記憶に残るお気に入りの場所の一つでした。
部屋はとても広く、とてもきれいでした。
これは、伝統的な旅館/旅館に近いものです。
入り口から、露天風呂（外の温泉）、朝食のダイニング、ベッドルームの畳、布団、エキストラまで、すべてが伝統的な日本を叫んでいます。
建物は100年以上前のもので、所有者が私に言ったことを思い出してから長年にわたって拡張されてきました。
スタッフは素晴らしく、とても温かく親切でした。
そして、はい、彼らは英語を話しました。
彼らは無料のピックアップと地元の鉄道駅への降車を提供しただけでなく、彼らは無料でモンキーパークの入り口にあなたを運転することができます。

ありがとうございました！（原文）I stayed here a couple of years back in a Japanese style room and it was probably one of my most memorable and favourite venues I stayed in while visiting Japan. The room was very large and very clean. This is as close to a traditional ryokan/inn as you are likely to get. From the entry, to the rotenburo (outside onsen) to the breakfast dining, to the bedroom with the tatami (floor), futons, and extras in the bedroom, it all screams traditional Japan. The building is over a hundred years old and has been expanded over the years from what I remember the owners telling me. The staff were excellent and very warm and helpful. And yes, they spoke English. Not only did they offer free pick up and drop off to the local train station, but they can drive you to and from the entry of the monkey park for free. The onsen located outside is small but its set in a well designed traditional and private garden. We were in the off season so we had it to ourselves. I can't fault the inn at all. I can only praise the owners for offering a memorable experience. Thank you!

素晴らしいロケーションにある美しい宿（真剣に、部屋は美しい）。
宿を経営している家族は素晴らしく親切で、宿は十分に小さいので、使うたびに敷地内の温泉を自分で味わうことができました。

ゴールデンウィークの後はオフシーズンになり、まるで自分たちに温泉ができました…本当に素敵なお風呂とフレンドリーで親切なオーナー。

（原文）It’s the odest ryokan in Yudanaka that is owner-managed. The owners are very responsive to emails and offered to fetch us from the Yudanaka station on arrival (only 0.9km away, but the walk would have been up a steep hill), and also drop us off at the monkey park. They are very attentive and always asked what what time we’d like to have dinner/breakfast etc. must try is the kaiseki dinner. I would also recommend having breakfast as very few eateries are open before 11am. They also lend you snow boots if you require them for the snow monkey park. The outdoor onsen is a must try! Beautiful in the morning with snow on the bushes.
この古い旅館は江戸時代に戻りますが、古いけれど清潔で魅力的です。
部屋は広々としていて、エアコンと扇風機を備えた独立した日本式の居間と寝室があります。
自家製の朝食は素晴らしく、たっぷりとしていて、所有者も私たちをスノーモンキーパークへ連れて行ってくれ、私たちを迎えに来てくれて、そして駅に向かってくれました。
私はこの場所が大好きで、絶対にお勧めします。
（原文）This old ryokan takes you back to Edo period, it's old but clean and charming. The room is spacious, has a seperate Japanese living room and bedroom equipped with air conditioning and with electric fan. The property has nice garden as well as indoor and outdoor traditional onsen.The homemade breakfast was good and plenty, the owner even drove us to snow monkey park, picked us up and drop us to the train station. I love this place and will definitely recommend.

Probably the best hotel I've stayed at in Japan so far! The staff were just wonderful and attentive. They drove us everywhere we need to go and took us to the monkey park and gave us snow boots for the hike up the mountain. Their dinner and breakfast was amazing! I cannot speak more highly of this place! I would definitely go back the next time I visit!
Wife and I stayed here for one leg of our honeymoon, had a great experience. We stayed Sun-Mon in Feb, and basically had the place to ourselves. The Yumoto family was so very welcoming, and the rooms were very nice. We experienced some winter weather that prevented us from visiting the snow monkey park, but soaking in the outdoor onsen with snow gently falling around us was a pretty awesome substitute. Do note that Yamanouchi is a touristy town, and most businesses are closed Mon and Tues. We weren't bothered by this though, because simply being in the ryokan was such a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

周辺のオススメ
湯田中湯本溫泉是這區歷史最久的溫泉飯店之一，但環境維持得不錯，只是老飯店真的無法有無障礙空間。
房間:很大，是由兩間房間組成，我們睡三個人放行李甚麼的都不成問題，廁所及洗手台是分開的空間，浴衣提供的顏色很明亮好看，三個女生的浴衣顏色都不一樣。
房間景觀是望庭院。
餐飲:早晚餐都很好吃，和隔桌也有一定的距離。
溫泉:飯店本身的溫泉有室內跟室外，男湯女湯在晚上會交換，所以如果早點進飯店的話，兩邊湯都可以泡得到。
飯店對面也有一個大湯可以讓住客泡(但因為沒有洗澡的地方，建議可以飯店自己的溫泉泡完再跟女將說，請她幫你開門泡)。
大湯溫度像東北的湯一樣蠻高的，空間蠻有老溫泉的氛圍。
服務:因為一開始預約就有詢問，所以女將有來車站接我們(因為都是上坡路，建議可以跟旅館預約接送)，晚上想去澀溫泉走走時，女將擔心我們走很久或者迷路，也非常貼心的說要帶我們過去，也提供時間讓我們走走拍拍再帶我們回來，隔天甚至也可以帶我們去地獄谷(但因為後來我們已經買套票看好時間了所以女將是帶我們去車站搭車)，整體服務來說，真的可以感受到湯本非常的日式的貼心，是個會讓人想再住或推薦的飯店。
價位:日本過年期間一房三個人含兩餐約1萬1千多的台幣在這一區算是相當划算，如果不是日本過年期間會比較低價，把飯店所提供的服務算進去真的非常推薦。
