Great Elementary/Junior High School. The school is small in size and numbers, but the overall atmosphere that the teachers and students create is very nice. A nice thing about this school is that they accept students from other prefectures to do a study abroad for a year as Okawa is very rural and can give students a taste of living in rural Japan.

Okawa's only school. Combined Elementary and JHS. It is a great school as students get a lot of attention due to the average class of 4 students per class. This school also offers education for students in other prefectures that want to experience the countryside as well as a personal education.
