歴史的遺構が残っているのは大変素晴らしい。
ただし、保存を何とか出来なかっのか?今後に期待。
一条通の智恵光院通から大宮通間の北側の東西約１５０メートルに点在する高さ約２．５メートルの石垣は北ノ丸北堀石垣跡です。
石垣の一部はマンションや民家、路地の奥などに残っています。
現存する石垣の石は聚楽第があった頃のものではなく、北ノ丸北堀石垣の基礎部分を再利用し石垣が築かれたと考えられています。
１９９７年の一条松屋町西入ルのマンション建築工事に伴う試掘調査で北ノ丸北堀の石垣の基底石４個と石垣の石を抜き取った跡が検出されました。
聚楽第の石垣の石が見つかったのはこの写真の石垣があるマンションが初めてです。
The stone walls with a height of about 2.5 meters scattered about 150 meters east and west on the north side between Chiekoin Dori and Omiya Dori on Ichijo Dori are the remains of Kitanomaru Kitahori Ishigaki. Some of the stone walls remain in condominiums, private houses, and the back of alleys. It is believed that the existing stone walls were not from the time of Jurakudai, but were built by reusing the foundation of the Kitanomaru Kitabori stone wall.In 1997, a trial excavation survey for the construction of a condominium in Nishiiri, Ichijo Matsuya-cho, detected four base stones of the stone wall of Kitanomaru Kitabori and traces of the stones of the stone wall being extracted. The stone wall of Jurakudai was found for the first time in the apartment with the stone wall in this photo.
