1945年に米軍の爆撃で destroyed 後、見事に再建された大聖堂です。
神の家の穏やかさを感じられる、特別な空間が広がっています。
祭壇にかかる大きな十字架が、訪れる人々を魅了します。
Catholic Matsuyama Church, with its 112 years of existence, is a solemn place to visit especially on a weekday. Upon entering, you feel the tranquillity, the serenity of the House of God. As you get closer to the altar where a big Cruxifix is hanging and a lighted Blessed Sacrament to the right, you will notice a one meter tall black marbel structure with a Dove inscrived in it. As I emerge myself in silence within this spiritual Dome...time lasped so fast...Deo gracias! 神様に感謝Kami ni kansha! (Praise the Lord!)
