ツツジ新道は上の方にあるため、よく看板を覚えて行かないと、一本道だと思ったら下りゴール前に一箇所だけ分かれ道があり迷ってしまう。
こちらからでもビジターセンターに行けるけど登った時と景色が違うので不安になる。
私達も落とし穴にハマりました。
しかも、暗くなり始め、「道迷い、遭難」の文字が頭をよぎりました。

周辺のオススメ
A well maintained trail to Hinokiboramaru one of the peaks of Tanzawa mountains. With a quick pace It can climbed in less than 3:30 hours.. Various wild flowers grow in the summer on the trail and autumn is also for viewing ‘koyo’. Only drawback that one had to cross mountain stream at Gora Deai (creek) and it could be difficult when water flow is large. But still for Hinokiboramaru it is one of the easier routes. Other ones - ishidayama ridge and one passing though Ingoeji requires a sure foot and little trail finding skills as they are not frequented much.
